This is a major event for early educators, particularly for those located in Melbourne’s north. This annual conference is a “not-to-be-missed” event.
With very engaging, expert keynote presentations and break-out workshops. Also we will host the annual trade exhibition and opportunities for networking.
Morning Keynote
Exploring 5 practical ways to begin to decolonise the ECE classroom.
presenter Dr. Aleryk (Al) Fricker
This focuses on policy (Marrung), curriculum (VEYLDF), pedagogy (Possum skin pedagogy and others), place and space, and community engagement. Dr. Al’s presentation will include URLs that link to practical resources and ensure that the participants have easy and practical ways to engage from their very next class. This also provides opportunity for the 'dos and don'ts' and a Q and A section at the end as well.
